Join the SoLuna Mental Wellness Team in The Woodlands
SoLuna Mental Wellness is a collaborative, in-person group practice committed to providing innovative, compassionate, and accessible mental health care. We believe exceptional client care begins with fully supported clinicians. Our practice is intentionally designed to counter the isolation and burnout often found in remote-only settings by fostering a strong culture of connection, mentorship, and clinical collaboration.
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our growing team in The Woodlands, Texas. This role is primarily in-person, with some telehealth flexibility, and focuses on working with children (ages 5+) and adolescents, as well as their families. Some evening or weekend availability is helpful.
SoLuna Mental Wellness offers comprehensive services including psychiatry, psychological assessment, and therapy for individuals, families, and groups. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and licensed clinicians who work closely together to provide coordinated, high-quality care to the greater Houston-area community.
In this role, the Clinical Psychologist will conduct psychological evaluations as appropriate, assess mental health needs, and develop individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include providing evidence-based individual and group therapy, collaborating with psychiatrists and other providers, supporting clients through crisis, grief, and major life transitions, and maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participation in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development is expected.
Qualified candidates will hold a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Texas. Experience working with children and adolescents, strong diagnostic and clinical formulation skills, and comfort with crisis intervention are essential. Familiarity with EHR systems and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment are required. Training or experience in EMDR, somatic approaches, play therapy, eating disorders, or addiction treatment is a plus. BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
SoLuna offers competitive compensation based on licensure, experience, and caseload, structured pay for administrative work and CEU time, flexible scheduling, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and sick leave. Compensation details will be discussed during an initial Teams meeting prior to clinical interviews.
If you are looking for a professional home that values clinical depth, collaboration, and sustainability, we would love to connect.
Compensation: $70.00 per hour
Mental health care that begins within.
At SoLuna, we believe impeccable care starts from the inside out. That’s why we invest just as deeply in our therapists as we do in our clients — because the well-being of one touches the other.
Rooted in Texas
We’re rooted in Houston, shaped by its rhythms, and responsive to its needs — from hurricane season to daily overwhelm. But our why runs even deeper.
We’re here to create a business that feels human. One that makes therapy more accessible, more relevant, and more compassionate — for this moment in time, and the people who live it. Our therapists aren’t just providers; they’re nurtured, seen, and supported so they can bring their full selves into the room. And when that happens, something powerful unfolds: therapy that actually heals.
The SoLuna Symbol - a name with meaning.
The name SoLuna honors the balance between light and dark, sun and moon, day and night — symbolizing the cyclical nature of healing and growth. Just like the sky shifts, so do we. Under SoLuna, we offer talk therapy, psychological assessments, and psychiatric services, all with the same deep intention: to walk with you through every season of your healing journey.
We’re not answering to corporate checklists. We’re answering to the heartbeat of this community — and the call to do things differently.
This is mental health care that feels like home.
Because it is.
Because it is.
